Why follow the trend when you can be the trend?
The us in "about us" is really just a me. My name is Christy and about a decade ago I had an Etsy shop where I sold clothes that I made myself. I love to sew, I love looking at patterns and picking out the right fabric for the item. With three school-aged children in the picture time for sewing became nearly impossible.
Belle of Promise is something I've been wanting to do since the Etsy shop closed down. It has been a dream. A couple months ago I decided to make the dream a reality. I knew it would take a lot of time, I knew it would drive me batty, BUT I also knew I would love it and if not now then when?
So if you looked in my closet you would see a WIDE range of items, because I don't follow one trend, I never have. In high school times I would wear my Dad's sweater with leggings and other times I would wear blue vinyl. You could find me in tie-dye just as easily as you could find me in flannel or silk. My point being that I have remained authentic to me. I have created my own style and it isn't what I've seen in any given magazine or store.
My hope for you is that you will feel empowered to develop your own style and revamp your wardrobe into something authentically you.
Belle of Promise will have very limited quantities. I don't want you walking through any door and finding multiple people wearing the same thing or anything similar. Which means hopefully you will check back often to see what's new. Feel free to contact me if there are specific things you would like to see, sizes you'd like me to offer or if there is an item you'd like me to try and restock. My shop will grow as the customer base grows, we're in this together.
P.S. It will become super clear to you that I absolutely LOVE pineapples! Also, by day I am a web developer for a university and the college I work under focuses on agriculture.I literally work in a building surrounded by farm land and gardens, it's divine. So I imagine you'll see a bit of that in the products I stock also.
